This year I found the sweetest “Plush Angel Slap Bracelets” and was so happy that I could purchase them for my piano and violin students. I purchased these from Oriental Trading here for LESS THAN ONE DOLLAR EACH and that really helps me stick to my budget!
Violin teachers are already familiar with the use of a bracelet with something attached to use as a teaching aide to keep the wrist back from the violin so instead of displaying the aforementioned violin wrist buddy, here is a new way to use your bracelets..
This Angel gives a holiday twist to that idea, and I want to show you other ways I’m using these with my students.
The Angel can hang out with a piano student and remind them to keep their wrists up and fingers on their tips. I’ve been testing it this week and it works great!
Violin students can also use it as a reminder on the bow arm-for the student pictured, we were trying out turning the bow hair towards her nose for the first time today!
These bracelets come in many styles, so be sure to let me know how you are using this idea in your studio in the comments or over on my facebook page: www.facebook.com/violinjudystudio
Love this idea. I collect Angels. Especially Angels playing music. And these are perfect.
