Do you wish you had Winter and Christmas resources for your beginning ukulele students? I love a no prep class myself! Here is a print and teach solution for your studio!
With my latest book “A Ukulele Winter” you can have fun and give your students music that they want to play! My students love these songs and yours will too! To purchase the studio license to this book send $15.00 to www.paypal.me/violinjudy
I’ll send the .pdf of this book within 24 hours. Please remember to include which book you wish to purchase in the PayPal comments.
This book is a collection of ten winter/Christmas themed pre-reading, big notes on the staff, folk songs and original pieces for your beginning ukulele students through grade 5. Elementary students adore these pieces and there is something for everyone!
All of my music books are studio licensed. This means you can print as many copies as you want for students in your studio or classroom and because you can use this resource for many years, it is a “good deal” and makes for easy no prep classes.
I suggest color copies for the color coded chord changes and I have tried to keep colors to a minimum if you are worried about printing costs. The Color coded chord changes match the colors used in the popular “Rainbow Ukulele” classroom method books, which I recommend. You can purchase those studio licensed books here: https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Browse/Search:rainbow%20ukulele
This book includes floating notes (off the staff) and has 16th notes, 8th notes, quarter notes, half and whole notes.
No strumming patterns are suggested with the exception of “Jingle Bell Stomp” which is a fun way to engage a larger group of ukulele students.
Additionally I’ve included some winter themed pieces so that my students who do not celebrate Christmas can still have fun with this book!
Songs Include themes of candy canes, the hibernating bear, snowmen and more!
Beginning Students can simply play chords. More advanced students can play the melody line. Baby beginners can learn the rhythms with floating notes (notes off of the staff) in the first pieces.
If you enjoy this book please let me know in the comments! This inspires me to write more music for ukulele students!
